Welcome! You've arrived at the homepage for Helen Smeaton, a mountain bike and trekking addict who owns and runs a mountain bike and walking business called Wheelie Cyprus with her husband Alistair, based in, you've guessed it Cyprus! When she's not working outdoors - it's a tough life guiding clients around some of the most stunning scenery in the Mediterranean - Helen is busy writing, a new found career after starting a couple of websites to supplement her income. Website building and website design led her to start freelance writing to add yet another stream of income. Who says being self-employed isn't a whole lot of fun? Helen counts herself extremely lucky. Not only does she have an amazing husband, who happens to be good looking too, she has been lucky enough to travel to some of the most scenic, far flung corners of the world in pursuit of the next biking or hiking challenge including Bolivia, Ethiopia, New Zealand, Brazil and Tanzania to name just a few.
